Just finished this commission painting - Trees in the Kaibab National Forest, AZ.
I knew it was finished when the trees started dancing as I flipped on the last tiny pieces of brightly colored pulp.
After the sides are cleaned and a backing put on, it's on its way to a new home.

Clients tell me they can almost walk right into the highly textured images I create. Using pigmented pulp, and a South African porcupine quill instead of a brush, I bring realistic images to life in an impressionistic style.
